With the holy inspiration of the great spiritual personality Shree Kanjiswami, Shree Todarmal Smarak Bhavan was built by Jaipur's businessman Shree Puranchand Godika to disseminate Jain Tattvagyan (metaphysics) and founded the Pandit Todarmal Smarak Trust. The grand Pandit Todaramal Smarak Trust building was inaugurated on March 6, 1967 by the spiritual leader Pujya Shri Kanjiswami. It aims to prepare full-time scholars in Indian religion, philosophy, and culture, and oriental languages to help moral awakening and character-building programs in the community, both in India and abroad.

About Todarmal Smarak Trust

PANDIT TODARMAL SMARAK TRUST was established in 1967 was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (Ex-vice-president of Indian Union) and the then Industry Minister Late Shri Trilok Chand Jain.

Aim :

Prepare full-time scholars in Indian religion, philosophy and culture and oriental languages so as to enable them to help moral awakening and character building programs in the community, both in India and abroad. It is open to all students on the basis of merit of marks obtained in secondary examinations, caliber and achievement in interview, without prejudice to caste, creed, languages and provinces.

Syllabi applicable :

2 years Upadhyaya Exam conducted by Board of Secondary examination, Ajmer; 3 years undergraduate Shastri course of Rajasthan Sanskrit University and 2 years course of Acharya (PG) from the same University.

Specialties :

Free boarding and lodging, all educational and health facilities to inmates, extracurricular activities, games, educational tours, religious rites and devotional songs. The students are engaged in the moral upliftment of people in all walks of life in society.

500+ full time scholars produced so far, out of them 50+ students are Jain Darshanacharya, 14 awarded PhD. and many others engaged in research work in various universities.

Some of the students of this Institution are engaged in higher services and professional jobs, others are in teaching professions, Working as Lecturers, professors and Heads of departments in different Universities and colleges all over the country. In over 320 Pathshalas, till date over 420322 students have passed.
